THE PRC CONTINUES TO CLAMP DOWN ON NORTH KOREAN DEFECTORS/MIGRANTS (NYT; free registration required). Clearly a refugee-fueled Eastern Europe style velvet revolution in the DPRK (or, a North Korean implosion) is not something the PRC looks forward to.
