SNOWED IN (again). Having spent numerous winters in Boston and Utah I can't help but chuckle at the panic that causes thousands of Virginians to rush to the grocery store whenever the weather report mentions that an inch or two might fall. One of my wife's co-workers is from upstate New York; "What they call a snow emergency here, we would call October," she quipped. Still, I'll take whatever chance to stay home I can get.
