HOW UNLEARNED ARE YOU?

If this list of the "100 best English-language novels from 1923 to the present" is any indication, I am quite unlearned indeed. I've read only 17. Ouch!

Comments:
I've read 38. There are so many books that should be on that list and aren't. But I am not even going to go into that!

wonder what the selection really says about the one who chose them?

Oh dear. I've only read 7 of them. For several of the others I've seen the movie, does that count? "To Kill a Mockingbird"? Gregory Peck at his finest. "The Big Sleep"? Bogie and Bacall fill the screen with sexual tension. "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest"? Nicholson before he became a caricature. Ah, so many memories.

BTW, nothing from Flannery O'Connor? For shame.

4. Lacking many classics as noted above. But still, 4. That hurts.
