How Many Escorts Does it Take to Get 3 Children Home?
Apprently a fair number when it involves getting the kids past angry Israeli settlers in Hebron. Whatever one thinks of the Gordian knot that is the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, I think most will agree that it would be better to leave schoolkids out of it, if possible.

Too bad about all of the Israeli kids that can't go home because someone put a bomb on their bus or blew up the pizza restaurant they were in...
And too bad you find it so easy to believe propaganda against the only democracy in that region and find time to advertise for sympathy for people who do not even recognize the Jews right to live...
In 1949, the Palestinians and Jews divided the land under the UN Mandate. Jordan is the ppiece given to the Palestinians... But the Arabs refused to accept it and there has been war since...
I would have expected you to be a bit more discerning...

One could, I think, stipulate that everything you say about the root causes of the current conflict and about acts of Palestinian terrorism is true and still conclude that kids should be able walk back and forth to school in peace.
